I lost 2.5lbs this week, this is my lowest weight so far!! I feel great and I am going to keep doing much the same for next week.

I knew I had lost weight this week and I have had soooo many compliments it has been lovely. I feel like I am finally back in control and I am enjoying WW again.



Well I have been a busy bunny!

On Saturday night went to Bingo with some ladies from work for a 50th birthday celebration, I was so tense at first cos it is so quick and very cutthroat but after a pint of lager I was fine. It was really good fun but not something I could do on a regular basis, I think the only reason the old dears let us out alive was because we didnt win anything! lol

On Sunday I went to Sheffield City Hall to see my sis sing with Sing Live doing songs from the 60's and 70's, it was really good fun and they were all dressed up which look really effective. A group of us went and it made for a lovely evening....

Then last night Miranda and Ash came round for a Quorn curry and a chat which was great, we never stopped chatting and laughing and the evening wizzed passed far too quickly!

Got weigh in tonight which I was looking forward too but I got a suprise visitor in the form of TOTM today totally unexpected and I feel really bloated! TUT! Not impressed, curse this damn body! lol

Feeling better today.

My neck still hurts like a mo'fo but I feel positive again today.

I went to the shops yesterday and got some different food for mine and Andy's lunches. So today I have got a pitta bread with chopped salad, some low fat coleslaw and wafer thin chicken with a Golden Vegetable cup a soup and some pineapple for after. I can't wait! lol

I am hoping this will give my weight that final push to a good loss on Tuesday to make up for the disappointment this week.

Tired, tired, tired..........

My neck is making it very hard for me to get a good night's sleep so I feel exhausted!

I am still smarting a little about weigh in last night but went shopping before work to get some different food for my work lunches so I am trying to be positive.

I am feeling really out of sorts though today, I don't feel as motivated work wise as I normally am and I just can't be bothered generally. I don't even care if any of this makes sense!! lol

I hate feeling like this, it doesn't happen very often but when it does it annoys the hell out of me, catch 22 anyone?!?!

I am a bit pissed off tonight, I did my photo tracker and only lost half a friggin' pound! Normally I am happy with a loss no matter what the amount but after all my efforts I am a tad annoyed.

My clothes feel looser and I have enjoyed doing the tracking a different way and I am going to try and not let this take the wind out of my scales but it will be hard.

hhmmmm disappointed.


Day 7 of photo tracker - Mon dinner to Tues lunch

Last night I had a mushroom chow mein and some prawn crackers and crumpets for breakfast and usual for lunch.
Today is the last day of my photo tracking and it will be interesting to see if I have lost any weight this week. I do feel slimmer and I have felt a lot more in control doing it this way, it isnt something I could continue as it is a tad faffy but has been fun for a week, I will definately try it again if I ever think I am getting 'tracking fatigue'.
How I feel today: Proud of myself for doing the photos but nervous about weigh in tonight.

Ouch cricked neck!

I am in agony!!

Woke up this morning all nice and cosy in bed and I went to stretch and my neck just clicked!! It really bloody hurts and I feel like I should be holding my head up to take the edge off. :0(

Not a great start to the week I must say. When I get home I am going to get a lovely hot water bottle on my neck and take some pain killers, hopefully that will ease it off a bit.

I am feeling very sorry for myself! lol

Day 6 of photo tracker - Sun dinner to Mon lunch.

Yesterday I didnt feel like having anything big so had bits, I had tomatoes on crumpets for my tea, which I love, and some nice snacky things. For my breakfast I had crumpets again and my usual sarnies etc for my lunch.

Day 5 of photo tracker - Sat dinner to Sunday lunch

Another good day, had quorn chilli, rice and some cheese for tea followed by a lovely creme egg. For my breakfast the kids bought me toast and marmalde with my Mothers Day cards and some more Creme eggs. for lunch I had a WW fish pie with carrots and some pineapple.
How I feel today: Happy.

Day 4 of photo tracker - Fri dinner to Sat lunch

Last night was brilliant, went over my points by 2.5 but I had a fab night. As you can see I had a low point tea and had 10 points worth of lager, all worth it. Today I had some pineapple when I got up and then we took the kids for a MsDonalds breakfast. I enjoyed it but I am back to my points from tea today.
I am going to make a quorn chilli to eat outside because we are going to do some wood burning in the back garden tonight and chilli is loads nicer eaten outside!
How I feel today: Tired but great, confident no damage done to diet.

Day 3 of photo tracker - Thurs dinner to Fri lunch.

Day 3 and everything is still going well.
I had quorn bolognese and some garlic bread for dinner last night with some crisps and a curly wurly later on. Today for breakfast I had pineapple and a WW Blueberry bar and for lunch the pic is self explanatory. Apart from people thinking I am crazy this is actually fun! lol
Tonight is a big test, I am going out with my sis and friend to a couple of Irish bars for drinks and singing, I am going to have a WW Hotpot with loads of veg for tea and I have allocated 10 points for drinks. It leave me around 7 points for breakfast and lunch tomorrow but I doubt after that much booze I am going to want much.
I am going to make sure that I have just enough money so I am not tempted to buy food at the end of the night. Fingers crossed.
How I feel today: Really good and looking forward to a night out.

Day 2 of photo tracker - Wed dinner to Thurs lunch

For dinner last night I had a lovely sausage casserole and a small bread roll followed by some pears then to end the evening I had a crunchie.
For breakfast this morning I was rushing a bit so just had some toast and for my lunch today I am having cream cheese sandwiches with some cheese Snack A Jacks, WW Blueberry bar and some grapes.
I have had a couple of cups of tea already and 1 pint of water so well on my way there.
How I feel today: Still in control and loving the sun.

Day 1 of photo tracker. Tues Dinner to Wed Lunch

Yesterday was my weigh in day and my treat night so I will have something high pointed, I didnt take a photo on my camera which is why this one is on, I actually only had 1 fishcake with some chips but this was the best picture I could find.
For breakfast this morning I had some pineapple and a WW Blueberry bar and for lunch I had WW Tuscan Minestrone soup, a bread roll and 1 packet of crisps.
How I feel today: In control and relaxed

My plan for this week......

This week in the magazine we get at WW it says about tracking your food in a different way, I like tracking online and I am going to continue doing that but I am also going to photograph everything just as an experiment to see if it makes me think twice about what I have.

I will take photos of the food I have then post them on here each day.

My tracker runs from 5pm-5pm so after lunch each day I will post my photos.

It has already made a difference as I had something different for breakfast than my usual toast.

It will be interesting putting photos on of the drinks I am planning on having for my evening out on Friday!! lol

Have a fun Red Nose Day!

The kids have gone off to school today with their red noses and dressed all in red, they are a tad giddy but that's the fun of it.

I have decided to do a Red Nose tea for them, so we are making home made pizzas with sliced tomatoes on top and then we have got Cherry bakewells, Jammie Dodgers, Respberry Jellypots and strawberries to have through the evening while we watch the programme.

I am going to have some but I have already pointed it all up. (Pass the halo!)

It's windy in our house tonight.........

I made a very yummy chilli tonight made with 4 different types of beans (3.5 points per serving) but the after effects are a tad extreme!

I wouldnt be suprised if there isnt a green gassy cloud over our house tonight! lol


Lost a couple of days?!?

I think my head has been up my arse these last 2 days, I know I have been busy but I couldnt tell you why! lol

Anyway, put a pound on this Tuesday which annoyed me a bit but moving on.......... I have exactly 51lbs left to lose to get to goal so I spoke to my leader Julie and we are now going to count backwards as of next week. Psychologically I am couting down to a more achievable sounding goal than counting up.

So I am on day 2 of being on that bloody wagon and so far so good, I do feel a bit like I am obsessing about food at the moment but I am sure that once I get a couple of good weeks under my belt it will get back to being easy again. I have got plenty of fruit with me at work so I can 'graze' on that through the day and I am planning ahead with my menus a bit more than I did.

I want to get a good chunk of this weight off before September as I have 3 things to look forward to, one being my 40th. Fingers crossed that I am over that hiccup and back in the game! Hurrah!!! lol

Yummy curry.............

I made a curry for the first time ever tonight, it was yummy! It wasn't as spicey as I wanted it to be but it was very tasty and everyone ate every mouthfull. I was really pleased with myself, it was quite high in points but now I have an idea to make one I can cut the points down.

Diet has gone well this week, I went slightly over last night by having a pint of lager and some nibbles off a buffet but I was really pleased with that because I could have gone a lot more crazy!

Down side, the battery in my scales has gone and I hate not knowing how my week is going, hopefully will get it replaced before Tuesday so I can have a fair idea about my weigh in, sneaky peeks keep me on track through the week so I am missing the option of getting weighed.

Fingers crossed for a loss this week.

Attic update.....

The attic is almost done, we have got the carpet being fitted today so hopefully we can get the kids moved by in by the weekend and give the house a good clean from top to bottom as there is dust everywhere!!!!

And has done an amazing job with the painting it looks fab. although when he was painting the pink on one wall for Lolly he said he felt like he was trapped in a big pink Ibuprofen! lol

I am so chuffed with how it has turned out, better than I could ever have imagined and am so jealous that I wont be sleeping up there!

Anyway, I will post more pictures on here after the weekend.

Working things out..........

I started pondering about how much I have lost on my WW journey so I thought I would record it on here.

When I started I weighed exactly 19stone. I lost 39lbs (2st11lbs) online but when I fell off the wagon I put a stone back on so decided to go to classes and get back into the zone, I went back to classes with a starting weight of 17st3lbs. Since then I have lost 36lbs (2st8lbs) as of todays date.

In total so far 61lbs with exactly 50 to go to get to 11st1lb.

I have decided to do the next part of my WW journey as follows:

Because I have 50 lbs left to lose I am going to start counting backwards from this number and tick off the pounds I have left to lose. I will ask Julie if she can start me a new card doing the same (she can still record total loss if she wants to) and record it this way on my card.

Because of losing some online before going to a class I did achieve 50lbs but got no certificate so I will also make a note that when I have lost 14lbs of the 50 outstanding I will get a certificate for 50lbs lost in class.

I hope this makes sense when I tell Julie on Tuesday! lol

Working all this out has made me feel really motivated again!


Fruit and Veg!

At the WW class last night the talk was on eating our '5-a-day'. Now this is something I really struggle with. I don't mind fruit and veg, it just isnt at the top of my list of things to eat.

But because I like my WW leader I thought I would at least try to have more so this morning I popped in to the co-op and got some nice grapes to have through the day today. I split them in half so that I can have some today and some tomorrow. They have been nice to have next to me as I have done my work and it did stop me from eating my lunch too early.

Tonight I will make sure I have loads of veg with my tea and I am going to have some pineapple for pudding. It will be interesting to see if I feel any better for it at the end of the week. I am expecting to be a bit more windy than normal too! lol

I feel like I am firmly back in the zone today.
